This tool is capable of undoing and redoing modifications without any kind of limit, as well as displaying, increasing, or decreasing the indentation of lines, scrolling smoothly both vertically and horizontally, and showing or hiding line numbers. In addition, it gives you the option to go directly to the specified line number and search for quick replacement.

I use the software as my go-to for quick photo edits and social media post creation. I've used this for so many uses for simple graphic editing that I can't imagine not having it for image resizing, editing, and social media content creation.

Yes, you can use the Escape key to close the quick actions drop down. But, in our implementation typing afterwards may still open the drop down (if what you typed has a match). From the applications I checked:

ok, thanks for the info. I guess that makes it a bit inconsistent with the other actions which have a specific shortcut. How do you differentiate a macro name from a quick action name? For example imagine a macro named list. I guess in this case that the quick action suggestions will propose both to create a list and to insert a list macro? But then the user might need to use the up and down arrow to choose the macro, no? Or does it mean macros will always be listed first in the quick actions suggestion list? Thx

First of all each quick action has a description, so the user will decide based on it what action to take (if the name is the same). Moreover, the search looks also in the quick action description so you can adapt the search to match the target description, although it may be easier to use the Down/Up arrow keys instead. This is not different than typing /list and choosing between numbered and bulleted list.

Has anybody had an issue with the quick elevation editor not recognising certain feature lines? It is happening to me about 40 percent of the time. I noteced it when starting at a new company 2 years ago. It will let me edit every feature line but one (usually the one I'm trying to edit).

The Explorer is great for navigating between files when you are exploring a project. However, when you are working on a task, you will find yourself quickly jumping between the same set of files. VS Code provides two powerful commands to navigate in and across files with easy-to-use key bindings.

You can navigate between different references in the peeked editor and make quick edits right there. Clicking on the peeked editor filename or double-clicking in the result list will open the reference in the outer editor.

Some languages like C# support inline reference information, that is updated live. This allows you to quickly analyze the impact of your edit or the popularity of your specific method or property throughout your project:

With the command workbench.action.quickOpenPreviousEditor, you can have the second entry automatically selected in Quick Open. This can be useful if you want to select the previous entry from the list without having to invoke another keybinding:

By default, Ctrl+Tab navigates between editors of the same editor group. If you want to navigate across all opened editors in all groups, you can create keyboard shortcuts for the workbench.action.quickOpenPreviousRecentlyUsedEditor and workbench.action.quickOpenLeastRecentlyUsedEditor commands:

Quick Editor gives users who have permission to edit policies in GoGuardian the ability to quickly add multiple filtering rules for website URLs to different policies from across the GoGuardian Admin interface, making it easier for you and saving you time.

but if I do try to quick-align e.g. the vertical path segment highlighted in the figure I posted, the full path is moved, instead of stretching the horizontal segment to align the vertical one to the chosen reference (target) edge.

Did you pre-select the entire wire before doing the quick align? If so, that would be expected. If you want to pre-select and only want the one segment, you can either use F4 (or Options->Selection) to go into partial select mode, or on Options->Selection turn off "Spine" which controls whether it will select the entire wire when in full select mode, or just the segment you're over.

I know actions can be triggered on clicking a row, also by saving a form, etc. I have a table that users will be updating multiple rows using the quick edit function. Once the edit is complete a workflow which creates an email+PDF needs to be sent reflecting the changes. Ideally this action would be triggered when the multirow edits are saved as the last step of the sync. The closest I have gotten is triggering the action manually after editing by using an action button.

Yes, it takes some seconds (and that could be a buzzer), but it triggers on quickedits on detail view.

I did it with a Yes/No field.

When it is Yes, other status field changes without getting out of the detail view.

I don't think the quick edit button in my shop is working, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong? I go into Shop Manager, Listings but the quick edit button is a light grey colour and when I click on it nothing happens? I can't tell if it's not working or it's me.

Have you made sure you "select listings to edit" by selecting the "Down Arrow"(to the left of Renew) - "Select 40 on this Page" or "Select XXX Listings on all pages" OR just manually "ticking" the Listing you want to edit? You have to have at least one Listing selected for the quick edit options to display.

Now that you have imported and organized your photos, you are all set to make some quick edits. Photoshop Elements offers several levels of editing, from quick, basic photo fixes with easy-to-use editing workflows to advanced color correction and composition in the Editor workspace.

Your photo is now open in Photo Editor for editing. You can use the basic photo-fixing tools in Photoshop Elements and perform some common editing tasks quickly, such as fixing the exposure or applying the pencil sketch effect to your photo.

The Quick view lets you quickly perform the most common editing tasks. This view groups basic photo-fixing tools in one place. Use this view to quickly fix the the exposure, color, sharpness, and other aspects of an image. In addition to correcting your photos, you can also transform your photos into professional-looking photos with the help of Effects, Textures, and Frames panel available in this view. For more information, see Photoshop Elements Help.

In a quick edit view, a pencil icon appears in the column heading above each editable field. Two buttons, Save Changes and Cancel Changes, can be added to the table's action bar to make quick edit easier to use with many records; after editing several fields using Next, use the Save Changes button to save, or the Cancel Changes button to roll back all field edits since the last save.

For example, suppose you have two choice fields, Type and Subtype, and Subtype is hierarchically dependent on Type. If you want to use the Subtype field in a quick edit view, Type must also be added to the view.

Conditionally required fields can be added to quick edit views, and the requirement condition is applied regardless of whether the parent field is included in the view. If a conditionally required field meets the requirement condition but does not appear in the view, it is not enforced. This parallels the behavior of conditionally required fields in a record: If the user cannot see a field, it is not required.

Validation actions are not presented to users when quick editing records from a table view. Depending on how the actions were set up, this can prevent record changes if the data entered does not meet a validation requirement.

Now to my question:I use FastStone Image Viewer as my primary jpeg browser and also for quick edits. I find this software almost perfectly fitting my needs, but it is lacking some key features I would like to have, like WB and tint adjustments. I tried several other programs today, but none of them came even close to FastStone.
