QuestIRL ("the app") is developed by Something Projects. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
• Email address (if you sign up with email)
• Username (chosen by you)
• Quest completion data (quests completed, streaks, badges earned)
• Friend connections (usernames you connect with)
How You Sign In
We use Firebase Authentication. You can sign in with:
• Email and password
• Google Sign-In
• Anonymous (guest mode, no personal info required)
How We Store Your Data
All data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore), hosted in the United States. We store your profile, friend connections, and quest completion history to power the app's social features.
What We Do NOT Do
• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
• We do not use advertising SDKs or show ads.
• We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app (Profile > Settings > Delete Account). Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers.
Children's Privacy
QuestIRL is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date.
