Event Details, Transportation & Mask Expectations
Saturday, June 21st from 2PM-5PM at Eastside Park in Morris, MN.
This event is a casual, open structured gathering. There is no strict time table, and you may participate in any activities at your own pace.
We will have craft supplies, yard games, conversation starters, a photo booth, and a Sharing Space/Open Mic for you to enjoy with new & old friends.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have so many craft supplies! We will have a zine making zone, bracelet supplies, sidewalk chalk, and nail polish.
From 3PM - 4:30PM there will be a Sharing Space/Open Mic! Folks interested in sharing a poem, song, performance (drag!?), story, creation, or speech will be able to sign up starting at 2PM on June 21st. We suggest about 5 minutes per sign up slot. We will have Pride Committee members emcee-ing, so reach out with any questions!
The Sharing Space will be utilizing the Eastside Park bandshell with audience members in the bleachers. If the bandshell seems intimidating/inaccessible to you, the grassy area in front of the bleachers will work great for sharing too!
Eastside Park has street side parking around the entire perimeter of the park. All parking connects to sidewalks via curb cuts.
The Morris Transit will be open from 12PM to 4PM, and event attendees can call 320-589-1000 to schedule rides to and from Morris Pride free of charge!
This is a "masks required, masks provided" event. Attendees are asked to wear high-quality face masks.
We understand that some disabilities create situations where individuals are unable to wear masks.
We are inviting people who do not fit that description to practice being a little uncomfortable for the benefit and safety of everyone.
We have so many types of masks for event attendees to try out and wear!
We will be making Morris Pride 2025 AND Name/Pronoun buttons soon. We will have buttons for transgender, lesbian, non-binary, pansexual, asexual, gay, bisexual, aromantic, and queer pride flags.
Can't wait until June 21st to get one; want one but live outside of Morris; want a flag border that we don't have? Send us an email at queermorris@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram @queermorrispride.
