This gorgeous rustic overnight camp owned by Campfire is nestled along the shores of Kenai Lake in Cooper Landing, a two-hour drive from Anchorage. A short distance from main camp and your own cabin is a half-mile long beach with access to hiking trails, large fields for outdoor games, and an art building.
The venue space includes a commercial kitchen open for your use, dining area, shower houses, and accessible shared spaces. Cabins are bunk style and attendees will need to bring a pillow and warm bedding - we recommend a sleeping bag. Click here for more packing suggestions.
We invite you to prepare to supplement provided snacks and family style meals with your own groceries. For Fellows unfamiliar with the area, shopping and all preparation should occur in Anchorage before traveling to Camp K - the area is rural and the closest grocery stores, restaurants and medical institution are in Soldotna, 1 hours drive away.
This 160-acre campus within the Chugach National Forest is “wild Alaska” with everyday opportunities to be off the grid, experience wildlife, and take in the epic beauty right outside your cabin door.
Stay tuned for more information about all we have planned for social time with your fellows and come prepared to take a dip in the lake and then warm up in the sauna.
