Krista McClean, OCT

BBT: Hairstyling and Aesthetics

Krista is someone who wants to make a difference in young learners perspectives of who they are verses who the world tries to tell them to be. Through her experience as a Red Seal certified Hairstylist and Technological Educator, she knows how important self wellness and mental health is. Krista hopes to encourage young learners to follow their dreams, and has a few ideas for how to engage learners while incorporating cross curricular interests.

Jordan Messier, OCT

BBT: Construction Technology

Jordan is a construction technology teacher candidate at Queens University. His previous experience ranges from building log homes and timber framing to custom woodworking. Currently he does contracting for up scale renovation projects in Ottawa and holds a diploma for Construction Carpentry and Advanced Housing.

Dante Reitano, OCT

BBT: Construction Technology

Dante is a construction technology teacher candidate at Queens University. Dante holds a journey persons class within the Ontario college of trades as a licensed red seal carpenter. Dante has specialized in residential house framing and has built hundreds of homes in the Ottawa area and also in Calgary Alberta. Through his teaching, Dante is excited to reach the next generation of students and increase their knowledge and interest in craftsmanship and trades.

Daniel Troisi, OCT

BBT: Hospitality and Tourism

Dan is a Consecutive I/S teacher candidate earning a B.Ed degree. Dan brings extensive working knowledge of the Hospitality and Tourism industry to the Queens community. Dan hopes to inspire the next generation of young cooks, teaching the fundamental principles of culinary arts and industry theory using a hands-on approach. He has completed a bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Guelph and is a certified Red – Seal Chef.
