Quantum Symmetries Conferences in the U.S. Midwest (founded by Chelsea Walton)
The Midwest Quantum Symmetry Conference series is dedicated to showcasing recent advances in Quantum Symmetry and exploring the rich connections among tensor categories, vertex algebras, subfactors, conformal nets, Hopf algebras, and quantum groups. We aim to make the conference series an essential platform for intellectual exchange among Quantum Symmetry researchers in the Midwest, enabling researchers from diverse subfields to collaboratively develop new ideas, connections, and methods to solve significant problems in Quantum Symmetry.

We are pleased to announce that QuaSy-Con IV will be held at Illinois State University in Normal, IL, from May 23 to May 24, 2026. We invite speakers and prospective participants to register by completing the survey linked below. To help us plan effectively, we would like to encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
Limited funding may be available for participants and speakers who do not have access to other sources of support. If you would like to be considered for funding, please indicate this when completing the survey.
