Members of the QUASAR Lab participated in the Asian Applied Physics Conference (Asian-APC 2025), held on December 6–7, 2025, at the Miyazaki Kanko Hotel, Japan.
The conference was jointly organized with the Kyushu Chapter of the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP) and brought together researchers across Asia working in applied physics and related fields.
Representing the QUASAR Lab and the Department of Physics at University of Ulsan, Prof. Young-Gwan Choi attended the conference along with student members Haneul Kim, Chae Wook Lee, and Hwijun Ko. The delegation included undergraduate interns and graduate-level researchers, providing valuable exposure to international academic discussions and presentation formats.
During the conference, lab members actively engaged in oral and poster sessions covering a broad range of topics, including spintronics, magnetics, nanomaterials, optics, and quantum sensing. In particular, the participation offered students hands-on experience in presenting research, discussing results with international experts, and gaining insight into current research trends in applied physics.
This participation strengthened international academic exchange and contributed to the continued global engagement of the QUASAR Lab.
