Quartal Voices

Lead by vocalist/arranger Kayla Price, the seven-member vocal jazz group Quartal Voices is an eclectic new ensemble based in Metro Vancouver, taking heavy inspiration from Swing, Soul, R&B, and Hard Bop music.

The quartet of vocalists met through Capilano University's Jazz Studies program, and have been cultivating a diverse repertoire of original arrangements and compositions. Themes of connection, love, and musicality are the foundation of Quartal Voices as they avidly prepared and expressed in their debut live performance in March 2026, and they will be recording their first EP later in the Spring.

The seven member combo consists of vocalists Kayla Price (soprano), Alma Arguello (alto), Jade Decker (tenor), and Tyler Shea (bass), pianist Matteo Cola, drummer Isaac Chatterton, and bassist Noah Falkenham (bassist Pallas Harmony is seen in the video below).
