August 4th - Internal Contest 

Aside awaiting for the ISS Final on Aug 3rd,  we extend our internal competition . 

New rule we use for this internal contest: 

In order to allow all members to participate in this fun internal contest, the internal contest will adapt a slightly different challenge that allows them to try new strategies.

 The following lists some minor changes we are making to the internal competition:

A new goal:

Instead of aiming for exactly 24 samples in the base site, the goal is now to go for as many samples as possible to be deposited in the base site with fewer battery within a shortest time.

Thus, the following changes are necessary to encourage taking optimal and efficient paths. Time was also extended to 320 seconds.

Slight change in the final scoring:

• There is no collection bonus for exactly 24 samples

• the battery and time score have an increase of 1.5x their previous weighting.  

• No change in the weighting for collection.

 How to tally the scores:

• The current final total scores shown in the console window will not apply.
