Q M&D Lab explores and develops novel quantum materials and physical phenomena based on advanced low-dimensional van der Waals (vdW) materials. Our distinctive strength lies in integrating vdW materials research across multiple scales—from the discovery and synthesis of new vdW quantum materials, to nanoelectronic and optoelectronic device development, 3D stacked semiconductor architectures, and functional composite applications that extend beyond conventional electronics.
We investigate vdW-materials, vdW-based devices, and quantum transport measurements, connecting fundamental science with emerging technologies. The materials we study include graphene, two-dimensional crystals, and semiconductor nanowires, and the techniques developed in our lab are increasingly adopted by research groups worldwide.
