This first workshop focused on quantum engineering presents the efforts done to establish a quantum information technology program by FAPESP--the QuInTec.

We see the workshop as a perfect stage to gather the chemistry, computer science, engineering, math and physics communities, gain up-to-date knowledge of their interests in the field, and become aware of international programs already launched on quantum technology.

It also aims to debate the prospects on how São Paulo's quantum-related expertise can endeavor the full-quantumness technology paradigm--the "quantum technology 2.0."

We will have an entire session with some major private sector players presenting their perspectives about quantum.
