BMI Calculator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data.
Height and weight are used only on your device to calculate a Body Mass Index (BMI) result and a corresponding weight range. The developer does not receive this information. The app does not save height, weight, or BMI as a health history. Android may temporarily retain screen state during normal system events such as screen rotation.
The app stores only your height-unit, weight-unit, and optional light/dark theme choices so they can be shown the next time you open the app. These preferences do not identify you and are not transmitted. App backups and device-transfer backups are disabled.
BMI Calculator requests no Android permissions. It has no Internet permission and contains no advertising, analytics, social, account, location, sensor, camera, storage, or Health Connect integration.
No user data is collected or shared by the developer, so the developer has no user data to retain or delete. You can remove locally stored preferences by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
If you tap Share Result, the app creates a temporary PNG image of your BMI result on your device and opens Android’s system share chooser. Nothing is shared until you select another app or destination. Quantify Labs does not receive the result; any destination you choose handles it under that destination’s own privacy practices. Android may retain the temporary image in the app’s private cache until the system removes it or you clear the app’s storage.
BMI Calculator is designed for adults aged 20 and older. It is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.
BMI is a screening measure and not a diagnosis. BMI Calculator is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide medical advice. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional about personal health concerns.
If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the relevant app update is released. The effective date above will also be changed.
