Using quantified self data allows for personalized learning and development programs that take into account individual needs and preferences (Pappas, 2023). People can better understand their own strengths and weaknesses, figure out what works best for them, and allows for ultimate personalization (Kelly, 2020; Pappas, 2023).
Being able to read, analyze, interpret, and act upon one's own data for self-improvement is empowering. Learners may be more motivated (Eynon, 2015) as they can gain actionable insights and be the driver of change for their own educational journey.
Using quantified self data allows for data-driven decision making (Rust et al., 2016), providing a more informed and objective basis for decisions.
