BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY

Dr. Tran is presently a Lecturer in the Department of Construction Management and Technology, Faculty of Industrial and Building Engineering, National University of Civil Engineering, Hanoi.

Dr. Tran was an Endeavour Research Fellow at the School of Engineering and the School of ICT, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

He received his Bachelor in Civil Construction Engineering from National University of Civil Engineering, Hanoi, Vietnam in 2007. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Economics and Management from Hohai University in 2009 and 2014, respectively. His research activities focus mainly on Engineering Design, Green Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Innovation Management, and Education Management. Mr. Tran has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, including the leading ISI/Scopus/EI-indexed journals, such as Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Sustainability, International Journal of Sustainable Construction Engineering and Technology, International Journal of E-Adoption, Information Technology Journal, and WSEAS Transactions on Computer, International Journal of Enterprise Information Systems, Employees Relations: an International Journal, and many international conference articles.

Dr. Tran completed a Postdoctoral project at Griffith University in 2014-2015 with Dr. Steve Drew and Dr. Rodney Anthony Stewart on an Endeavour Research Fellowship granted by Australian Government. The present research project is "Qualitative Research on e-Procurement institutionalization in Construction Industry in Vietnam."

He has also received an offer of a Postdoctoral research position at City University of Hong Kong with Dr. Sun Hongyi in 2015-2017, and at Hohai University in 2015-2016.

Dr. Tran is currently a Secretary Member of the Board on developing the CDIO approach traning curriculums in NUCE. He is also a Leader of the Unit of Science and Technology, Institute of Construction Engineering Technology ICET.
