Quan Chen
I am interesting in tensor categories and higher categories; the quantum symmetries in operator algebras, especially subfactor theory and planar algebra. I am also interested in the applications of operator algebras and tensor categories on quantum physics, including quantum field theory, quantum information and quantum many-body theory.
I am a postdoc at Vanderbilt University starting in 2023 fall under the supervision of Dietmar Bisch.
I received my Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in 2023 spring under the supervision of David Penneys.
Previously, I completed my B.Math in 2017 from Zhejiang University, China.
I am originally from Hangzhou, China.
