Research Interest
My research interest lies in new techniques related to Density functional theory (DFT), exploring new topological materials, modern theory of polarization and Berry phase, construction of maximally localized Wannier function, quantum anomalous Hall effect, topological insulator, nodal line semimetals, Dirac semimetals, Weyl semimetals, Triple point metals, Rashba materials, Valley-based information manipulation and corresponding topological features, magnetic anisotropy, friction in 2D materials, and Machine learning (ML).

Multiple triple-point fermions in Heusler compounds: Using the density functional theoretical calculations, we report a new set of topological semimetals X2YZ, which show the existence of multiple topological triple-point fermions along four independent axes. This intermediate linearly dispersive degeneracy between Weyl and Dirac points may offer prospective candidates for quantum transport applications. (web)
