Kim Phan's pedagogy is based on the piano syllabus of the Royal Conservatory of Music, which is a nationally recognized institution of music throughout U.S.A. This certificate program starts with two preparatory levels, suitable for piano students completing their first and second years of study, respectively. The Program then progresses through ten consecutive grades (Grade 1-10), and culminates in certification as an Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music (the ARCT diploma). The examinations available for each level, grade, and certification serve as logical assessment points for developing musicians. There are two examination sessions in a year. The more practice, the earlier students will do well on exams and pass their grades.

The Program Includes:

Piano: 2 preparatory levels, 10 grades, and the Associate degree

Theory: Rudiments, Harmony, History, Counterpoint, and Analysis
