Welcome! I’m Janelle Zielinski, Founder and CEO of QualiFleet Consulting LLC, established on November 24, 2023. With over 15 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, and nearly 22 years living and working in Florida, I help companies simplify compliance, strengthen operations, and build teams that work efficiently and sustainably.

I’m originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, where transportation was part of everyday life. Both of my grandfathers were commercial fishing captains, and I grew up around family involved in trucking and logistics. That background shaped my practical, real-world approach and naturally led me into this industry.

Through QualiFleet Consulting, I support clients with FMCSA/DOT audit preparation, fleet compliance, HR and workforce services, dispatch operations, ocean and port-related logistics (including dunnage, drayage, and accessorials), SOP development, and clear communication between departments. My focus is on building systems that reduce stress, improve compliance, and keep operations moving.

I also design and teach industry training programs that prepare companies, professionals, and students for success across recruitment, driver qualification, safety, dispatching, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on real-world application.

I currently serve as the Programs Chair on the Board of the Transportation & Logistics Council as well as several advisory boards, supporting workforce development and industry education. I’m also a registered C/TPA with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, hold an A.S. in Supply Chain Management, am completing my B.A.S. in Logistics, and am a Certified Freight Dispatcher (NDFCA).

In addition, I’m an active member of the Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville, Transportation Club of Jacksonville, and the TALON Group, and I remain deeply committed to community outreach, workforce re-entry initiatives, and supporting the next generation of transportation professionals.
