Arguably the biggest upset of the opening weekend was moorestown rolling to a 28-8 win over perennial contender burlingtown township. Senior andrew curry led the quakers with 180 years and two touchdowns on 19 carries. junior qb john zohlman was an efficient 13 of 18 for 114 yards. the quakers defense led by josh byrd, grady keebler, and chase caulder forced three fumbles and zohlman picked off a pass.

Cherry Hill East 34

at Moorestown High School 7

Moorestown defeated Cherry Hill East by a score of 34-7. Andrew curry scored 2 touchdowns on the ground and another in the air. Josh Byrd would catch another touchdown. shane ginley and tyler mendys would each intercept a pass and a forced fumble on the goaline by jack bertino helped shut down the cougars offense.
