I'm trying to imagine a connection that is between remote machinge and my computer. Remote machine is sending the packets (and its header (for instance, destination IP, message body)) to me but it only knows my id number(which is given by my local teamviewer application).

I'm using TeamViewer 9. I need to find where it holds ID and get it. I tried to find it in the regedit but i didn't find it. What can you advise me? I need to find id and send it to my gate.php or i need to create static id with TeamViewerQT.

Locate the Teamviewer 8 Host icon on the desktop. If you do not find it there, then click the Start Menu and look for it there. If you do not find it in the Start Menu, then go to where the clock is. Look for the little up-arrow that hides notification icons. Click that up arrow and look for a miniature version of the Teamviewer icon to be there. Double-Click the icon in the notification area.

NO I'm kidding! If you can't find it at all then it is time to download it, because it obviously isn't there! This KB is about Teamviewer 8, so here is the download link to download TeamViewer 8. The problem with this is that I have to be present next to the server to be able to get rid of it and start the TeamViewer session. Is there a way to get rid of it for good, so that I could remote into the server without being next to it? Thanks in advance.I assume this is some stupid privacy or security thing, but I didn't find anything about it online.

The only thing I haven't tried is creating a TV account for the remote computer, which was never needed in the past, so I assume it's not needed now? That would be fucking insane because I have like 100 people's computers that I login to, if they all have to create their own TV accounts on top of all the other interface bullshit, then I guess it's time for me to cancel my subscription and find something else. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. Needs to work well with remote computers that have multiple monitors, and be easy to setup unattended access.

3. Enable 2-step authentication, if you haven't already. Log in to your TeamViewer account at login.teamviewer.com. Click Edit profile > Generaltag_hash_112> Activate link > Two factor authentication. Then, follow the onscreen instructions and click Save.

Remote login software TeamViewer has had a significant number of user accounts hacked, and the organization is scrambling to find the root cause of the problem. A spokesman for the organization, Alex Schmidt, confirmed the community's suspiciton over the weekend, but is blaming poor external passwords to be the main cause.

For TeamViewer to control another computer, it has to find the computer using one of two methods, either via an ID number that you provide for each session or through a single user account configured on each computer. If you are using an ID number, enter the remote computer's assigned TeamViewer ID number manually in the "Partner ID" field on the right side of the initial interface, and hit "Connect to Partner." The easier method is to sign into the user account you made when you first installed the application, and add each machine to your TeamViewer "Computers and Contact" list. Once configured, TeamViewer automatically recognizes and connects to any online computers from your "Computers and Contact" list, requiring no further action from you.
