2025 Quad Cities Criterium Volunteer Opportunities

There are plenty of volunteer opportunities for this year’s Criterium to be held in the Village of East Davenport on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. If you are interested in joining in the fun and are available for any of the slots below contact Dean “Bareback” Mathias at mathiasdebdean@peoplepc.com
First time volunteer? Come on down. You will make plenty of friends!
Criterium volunteer opportunities include pre race day, race day and post-race cleanup including:
Pre-Race Day, May 25th
Time TBD: Pick up recycling stands. 2 volunteers needed
Noon- 2:00 PM Clean theater registration area and set up registration tables. 4 volunteers needed
Noon-2:00 PM Attach sponsor board to fencing. 20 volunteers needed
Race Day, Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th
5:00 AM: Course set up with barriers. 20 volunteers needed
5:00 AM: Position recycling and trash containers on the course
Corner or crossing marshal course volunteers. Choose a time slot or two to help out! You can also be an At-Large volunteer to fill in any volunteer gaps that need to be covered.
1st Shift 8:00 - 10:30 - Leader Steve Geering 20 volunteers needed
2nd Shift 10:30 - 1:00 - Leader Dean Mathais & Bonnie Sturgeon 24 volunteers
3rd Shift 1:00 - 3:30 - Leader Tom Scott 24 volunteers
4th Shift 3:30 to Race Conclusion - Leader Dean Mathais 24 volunteers
5:00 - 7:00 PM Post Crit Course Teardown. 26 volunteers needed
