The database is a Common Data Services database that is automatically created in the default environment for the Power Platform. It is used for things like Approvals. If you want to use it for more than that you would need a premium license since CDS is a premium data source. There is also a version of CDS available inside Teams which only requires a Teams license. I suspect someone in your tenant signed up for a trial license at some point. Otherwise there should be any usage of the Files database. Here is information about environments.

Since there is no trial version of Unity, only Personal, Pro, Plus and Enterprise editions, I would be surprised that this is actually a Unity issue. Either something in the project displays that trial version such as a trial version of an asset, or it is generally an overlay from a Windows tool such as a gaming related tool (eg fraps) that only shows up when a (fullscreen) game is running.

To install an OSX virtual machine in VmWare you need to either buy and old copy on EBay or something since they don't sell disks anymore and for Macs the ecosystem is closed- nobody goes to their site and downloads a trial. On a mac it downloads the OS straight from Apple in recovery mode and handles updates all through the app store, which, on a Windows machine you don't have access to. If you have a Mac you don't need a trial- you just get the OS with your computer, and if you're on Windows Apple doesn't allow installation on to non- Apple hardware.
