Submission

For the QSE-NE2024 workshop, we consider the following types of submissions:

Research Track (up to 10 pages): This track is defined for papers that conducted original research. Submissions should focus on innovative methodologies, tools, datasets, or studies that are closely aligned with the themes of the workshop.

Ideas, Visions, and Reflections Track (up to 4 pages): This track is defined for the submissions that propose radical and innovative ideas, pioneering research directions, or provide insightful reflections and lessons from past experiences.

Industry Track (up to 4 pages): This track calls for papers that focus on practical industrial challenges and experiences. Submissions should focus on real-world problems, practical insights, and lessons learned from industrial practices.

Authors are invited to submit original unpublished research papers as well as industrial practice papers. Simultaneous submissions to other conferences are not permitted. At least one author of the accepted papers has to register for the workshop to have their papers appear in the ESEC/FSE2024 companion proceedings. 

Submissions are required to be presented in English and must be formatted as PDF documents. For the format of submission, please follow the instructions provided in the "How to Submit" section on the ESEC/FSE2024 website.

Note that, in order to ensure the fairness of the reviewing process, the QSE-NE2024 employ a double-anonymous review process, where external reviewers do not know the identity of authors, and authors do not know the identity of external reviewers. The papers submitted must not reveal the authors’ identities in any way.

AUTHORS TAKE NOTE: The official publication date is the date the proceedings are made available in the ACM Digital Library. This date may

be up to two weeks prior to the first day of the conference. The official publication date affects the deadline for any patent filings related to published work.
