Jaipur is one of the major tourist destinations in India with an International Airport and is well-connected with all major destinations and cities in India by Air, Rail, and Road. The venue of the conference, Crowne Plaza Jaipur Tonk Road, an IHG Hotel, is just 9.8 km (6.089 miles) from the Jaipur International Airport. Jaipur forms part of the West Golden Triangle with the country's capital Delhi (258 km), and Agra (236 km) - the city of Tajmahal. UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 2019 inscribed Walled Jaipur City (Pink City of India) in the World Heritage List of Cultural Sites in addition to previously listed UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Amer Fort and Jantar Mantar.

Jaipur – The “Pink City”
Jaipur was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the Kachwaha Rajput ruler of 'Amber or Amer' after whom the city is named. Jaipur is popularly known as Pink City due to the pink-colored scheme used exclusively on the buildings of the walled city. The only planned city of its times, now Jaipur the Capital of the state of Rajasthan, is the tenth most populous city in the country with a population of 4.5 million.
