Welcome to QR Scan Master, developed and operated by Velox Apps ("we," "us," or "our"). QR Scan Master is a professional QR code and barcode scanner application designed to help you quickly scan, generate, and manage QR codes and barcodes on your Android device.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our app works. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2.3 Camera Access

QR Scan Master requires camera access solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes in real-time.

Camera is activated only when you open the scanner screen

We do not access your camera in the background or when the app is closed

2.4 Location Information

QR Scan Master may request location permissions for the following limited and specific purpose:

Geo QR Code Parsing: When you scan a QR code containing geographic coordinates (e.g., geo:40.7128,-74.0060), the app uses your device's location services to display or open the location in a map application.

We do NOT:

Track your location continuously
Store your location data
Share your location with third parties
Use location for advertising or analytics

Location access is optional and only activated when you scan geo-location QR codes.

2.5 Local Data Storage

QR Scan Master stores the following data locally on your device only:

Scan History: Records of previously scanned QR codes (stored in a local SQLite database)
App Settings: Your preferences such as theme, language, and feature unlock status
Premium Feature Status: Information about which features you've unlocked via ads or purchase

This data is NOT uploaded to our servers or any cloud service. It remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

3. How We Use Information

To scan and decode QR codes and barcodes using your device's camera
To save and retrieve your scan history stored locally on your device

4. Third-Party Services

5.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data to third parties.

The third-party services listed in Section 4 may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not have control over their data practices.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

7.1 Local Data

All scan history and app settings are stored only on your device. You can delete this data at any time by:

Clearing scan history within the app (Settings → Clear History)
Uninstalling the app (all data will be permanently deleted)

7.2 Third-Party Data

Data collected by third-party services (AdMob, RevenueCat) is retained according to their respective policies. To delete this data:

AdMob: You can reset your Advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID)

8. Children's Privacy

QR Scan Master is intended for users aged 13 years and older.
