QR Genie helps you scan and generate QR codes quickly and easily.


Data We Collect
QR Genie does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. Camera permission is used only to scan QR codes, and storage/photo permission is used only to let you select images from your gallery or save generated QR codes — all scanning and generation happens locally on your device. Your scan/generate history is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us.


Advertising


QR Genie displays ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the app. AdMob and its partners may collect and use data (such as your advertising ID, device information, and general location) to show ads, including personalized ads, and to measure ad performance. This data is collected and processed by Google and its advertising partners, not by QR Genie directly.


You can control ad personalization and manage your consent preferences via the in-app consent prompt shown on first launch, or through your device's ad settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads on Android, or Google's My Ad Center).
