Terms and Conditions — QR Code Scanner: Scan Barcodes

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your download and use of QR Code Scanner: Scan Barcodes (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
## 1. Service scope
The App helps you scan, create, save, manage, and share QR codes and barcodes. It may also offer features such as product lookup, creating contacts or calendar events from code content, and exporting code images. Some features require system permissions or an internet connection.
The App is a code-reading and code-creation tool only. We do not verify, guarantee, or accept responsibility for the accuracy, safety, legality, or content of any code, link, website, product, or third-party service that you scan or open.
## 2. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- use the App in compliance with applicable law;
- scan, create, save, or share only content that you are entitled to use;
- independently verify a link and code content before opening it, paying, disclosing information, or taking any other action;
- not use the App to distribute malware, deceive others, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or infringe the rights of others; and
- not interfere with, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or related services.
## 3. System permissions and your data
You decide whether to grant Camera, Photos, Contacts, Calendar, and Tracking permissions. Some features will not work without the relevant permission. You are responsible for content you scan, create, or save, and should remove sensitive data from your history when it is no longer needed.

## 4. Premium and auto-renewable subscriptions
The App may offer weekly or yearly Premium subscriptions. The price, currency, free-trial offer (if any), and specific conditions are displayed on the App Store payment screen before you confirm a purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the price of the plan you selected.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in **Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions** on your Apple device or in the App Store.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by law.
- You may use **Restore Purchases** in the App to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple ID.
Apple handles payments, refunds, and App Store transaction requests under Apple’s terms. Premium entitlements are verified through StoreKit; RevenueCat is used only to synchronize transaction status.
## 5. Third-party services and content
The App may open external links or use services provided by Apple, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, and Open Food Facts. Third-party services, content, and policies are outside our control. Your use of them is subject to the applicable third party’s own terms and policies.
## 6. Intellectual property
The App, its interface, branding, source code, design, and content created by us are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on an Apple device that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You retain ownership of content that you create or save in the App. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
## 7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will always be error-free, uninterrupted, completely secure, or that every code will be read correctly.
We are not responsible for losses arising from your scanning or opening of links, reliance on code content, use of third-party product information, loss of local data, or inability to use the App, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
## 8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by removing it from your device. We may limit or terminate your right to use the App if you breach these Terms or when reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, or comply with law.
## 9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. An updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after an update means that you accept the updated Terms.
