PDFHive (“we”, “our”, or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our QR & Barcode Scanner Android application (“the App”).
The App itself does not collect personally identifiable information unless you choose to share it.

Camera Permission (android.permission.CAMERA) – Required to scan QR codes and barcodes using your device’s camera. The camera is only used for scanning purposes and images/video are not stored or sent to us.
AD_ID Permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) – Used by Google AdMob to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
Through third-party services such as Google AdMob, we may collect non-personal information, including:
Device information (model, OS version)
Advertising ID (for ad personalization or frequency capping)
App usage data (e.g., number of scans, session duration)
We use the collected information to:
Enable the QR and barcode scanning functionality
Improve app performance and user experience
Show relevant ads through AdMob
We use Google AdMob for displaying advertisements. AdMob may use the Advertising ID and other non-personal data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences.

We do not store or share scanned data. All scanning is processed locally on your device. We take reasonable measures to protect any data handled by the app.

Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app or on our listing.
