QR Grid / QR & Barcode Scanner respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles information when you use the app.
Our app is designed to work mostly on your device. We do not require an account, login, registration, or user profile to use the app.
We do not collect or store the following information on our own servers:
Your name
Your phone number
Your address
Your contacts
Your account information
Your passwords
Your full photo gallery
Your scan history on our server
Your created QR codes or barcodes on our server
The app does not create user accounts and does not store user data in any backend database controlled by us.
Some information may be stored locally on your device, depending on how you use the app.
This may include:
Scan history
Created QR codes or barcodes
Favorite or saved items
App settings
Files or images that you choose to save/export
This information stays on your device. You can remove local app data by using available in-app options such as clearing history, deleting saved items, or uninstalling the app from your device.
The app may request camera permission to scan QR codes and barcodes.
Camera access is used only for scanning. The app does not record videos, take photos, or upload camera content to our server.
When you choose to scan a QR code or barcode from an image, or when you select an image/logo for customization, the app uses the Android system picker.
This means:
You choose the image manually
The app only receives access to the selected image
The app does not access your full photo gallery
The app does not scan your photos silently in the background
The app may allow you to create, customize, save, export, and share QR codes and barcodes.
The content you create remains on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share it.
We do not upload your generated QR codes, barcodes, or custom designs to our own server.
The app may show advertisements using Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect and process certain information, such as device identifiers, app activity, advertising data, and diagnostic information, to provide ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad services. AdMob’s data handling may depend on Google’s policies, your region, and your device settings.
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes and improve app stability.
Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash reports and diagnostic information such as:
App version
Device model
Operating system version
Crash stack traces
Crash-related diagnostic data
Installation identifiers used for crash reporting
Firebase documentation states that Crashlytics uses identifiers and crash-related diagnostic data to provide crash reporting and stability monitoring.
We use this information only to improve app stability and fix bugs.
The app may use internet access for:
Loading ads
Sending crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics
Opening external links such as Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, or scanned website links
The app does not use internet access to upload your scan history or generated QR/barcode content to our own server.
If you contact us by email, we will receive the email address and message content that you choose to send.
We use this information only to respond to your support request, feedback, or issue report.
Support email:
support.mail.contact@gmail.com
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your scan history, created QR codes, or barcodes with our own server.
However, third-party services used in the app may process certain information according to their own policies, including:
Google AdMob
Firebase Crashlytics
These services are used for ads, crash reporting, diagnostics, and app stability.
This app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
The app does not require account creation, login, or profile information. If you believe that a child has contacted us directly by email and shared personal information, you may contact us so we can review and delete that support message where applicable.
Because the app does not create user accounts or store your scan history on our server, there is no server-side account deletion process.
You can delete local app data by:
Clearing scan/history data inside the app, where available
Deleting saved/exported files from your device
Clearing app storage from Android settings
Uninstalling the app
If you contacted us by email and want us to delete that support email conversation from our mailbox, you may contact us at:
support.mail.contact@gmail.com
Scanned QR codes or barcodes may contain links to third-party websites or apps.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, or accuracy of third-party websites opened from scanned results.
Always review scanned links carefully before opening them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
