1. Who We Are

2. Short Version
App collects nothing. No servers. No accounts. No analytics. No ads. No internet access. All processing on-device. Nothing leaves your phone.
3. What App Accesses, and Why
Camera: scans QR codes. The camera feed is analysed in real time on-device to detect codes. Never recorded, saved, or uploaded.
Contacts (read only): used only if you choose "Import from Contacts" to turn a contact's details into a QR code. Read on-device at that moment, never stored by us or uploaded.
Location: Android requires location permission to read the name of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to, used only to help you create or read Wi-Fi QR codes. Never tracked, stored, or transmitted.
Wi-Fi information: reads your current Wi-Fi network for Wi-Fi QR codes and, if you choose, suggests connecting to a scanned network. Stays on-device.
Local storage: saves your settings and your history of generated and scanned codes. Stays on-device.
Vibration: a short buzz confirms a successful scan. Stays on-device.
Saving and sharing images: a QR image you save or share is created on-device and handled by the Android share sheet you pick. We never receive it.
No camera image, contact, Wi-Fi detail, or location is ever recorded to a file for us, buffered to disk, uploaded, or sent to us or any third party. Analysis happens in-memory, real time, on your device only.
4. Data We Do NOT Collect
No account/login, so no name, email (other than support email you send us), or identity data.
No location tracking data (location is only read on-device for Wi-Fi network names, never collected).
No device identifiers used for tracking (no ad ID collection).
No usage analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or telemetry.
No advertising SDKs.
No network requests of any kind - the app has no internet permission and does not transmit data.
5. Third Parties
None. No SDKs, no analytics platforms, no ad networks, no crash reporters, no cloud backend. QR generation and scanning run entirely on your device. If this changes in future versions, this policy will be updated first and the change will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date.
6. Children's Privacy
App not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, since it collects no data at all.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / general)
Because no personal data is collected, stored, or processed by us, there is generally nothing to access, correct, delete, or export on our end. Settings and history live only in your device's local app storage and are removed automatically when you uninstall the app. If you email us at seleniumstudio.app@gmail.com, that email itself (address, content) is handled per standard Gmail data practices on our end - we don't add it to any separate database.
8. Data Retention
We retain nothing, so there is nothing to retain. Local settings and history persist on your device until you clear app data or uninstall.
9. Security
Since no data is transmitted or stored by us, there is no server-side breach surface tied to your use of this app. Standard Android app sandboxing protects locally stored settings and history from other apps.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above and, where required, additional notice in the app or store listing.
