QR Scanner Master ("we," "our," or "the App") is built to be a high-performance, privacy-first utility. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, emphasizing our commitment to an offline-first experience.
We believe your scanned information is private.
No Personal Information: QR Scanner Master does not require an account, email, or name to function. We do not collect or store any personal data.
Local Processing: All scanning, decoding, and processing of QR codes or barcodes happen locally on your device. No scan data is ever uploaded to our servers.
Offline History: If you choose to save your scan history, that data remains on your device's internal storage and is never synced to the cloud.
To provide its core service, the App requires the following permissions:
Camera Access: Used solely to scan codes. Images captured by the camera are processed in real-time and are never saved, shared, or uploaded.
Internet Access: Used exclusively to display advertisements and to allow you to visit websites contained within scanned QR codes.
To keep QR Scanner Master free for everyone, the App displays advertisements served by third-party networks (such as Google AdMob). While the App does not collect your personal data, these third-party services may automatically collect:
Device Identifiers: Such as your Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA.
Technical Metadata: Your device model, OS version, and IP address (used to provide ads in your general language or region).
Ad Engagement: Statistics on how many ads were viewed or clicked.
These third parties process data according to their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device’s system settings.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no user database to breach. Any data requested by our advertising partners is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
