- Scan & Generation Data: Any QR codes scanned or created within the app are processed locally on your device.
- Local Storage: Your scan and creation history is stored locally in your device's internal database (SQLite / SharedPreferences) and can be cleared by you at any time.
3. Device Permissions Used
To function properly, our application may request the following permissions:
- Camera Permission: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time. Camera frames are processed on-device and never recorded or uploaded.
- Storage / Photos Permission: Required if you choose to scan a QR code from an existing image/gallery or save/export generated QR codes and PDF files to your device.
- Internet / Network Access: May be used strictly for opening web links (URLs) detected from scanned QR codes via your external browser.
4. Third-Party Services
Our application does not use intrusive third-party trackers or share private data. If you click on external links generated or scanned via QR codes, you will be redirected to third-party websites whose privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
5. Data Security & Retention
All data (scan history, custom QR codes, and saved items) stays strictly on your local device storage. If you uninstall the application or clear application data, your history and saved records will be permanently removed.
6. Children's Privacy
Our application does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
