This Privacy Policy explains how QR Scanner & Barcode Reader ("the App"), made by NEXUS SOL ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to this policy and to the Terms & Conditions below.
1. Our Approach to Your Data
The App is designed to work on your device. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or contacts. Codes you scan or create stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
2. Camera and Scanning
The App uses your camera only to scan QR codes and barcodes. The camera image is processed in real time on your device to read the code. We do not record, save, upload or share camera images.
You can also scan a code from a photo you pick. The App only sees the photo you choose, reads the code on your device, and does not upload or keep the photo.
3. Scan History and Created Codes
The content of the codes you scan (such as links, text, Wi-Fi details, contact cards or product numbers) and the QR codes you create are saved in your history on your device only. We do not collect, store or share them. You can delete any item, or your whole history, at any time in the App.
When you choose an action for a scanned code, such as opening a link, connecting to Wi-Fi, saving a contact or searching a product, the App passes it to your browser or another app on your device. What happens next is covered by that app's or website's own privacy policy.
4. Information We Collect Automatically
To keep the App working and to show ads, the App and its third-party services may automatically collect:
- Device information, such as device model, operating system version, language and screen size
- App usage information, such as screens viewed, features used and session length
- Crash and performance reports
- Advertising ID, used for ads and ad measurement
- Approximate location based on IP address, used by ad networks to show relevant ads
This information does not include camera images, the content of codes you scan, or the codes you create.
5. Permissions We Use
We only ask for a permission when a feature needs it. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.
- CAMERA: to scan QR codes and barcodes.
- FLASHLIGHT: to turn on your camera's flash so you can scan in low light.
- VIBRATE: to give a short vibration when a code is scanned.
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 and below): to save QR codes you create to your device on older Android versions.
- INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: to load ads, and to check whether you are online.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: to send you notifications. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to restore scheduled notifications after your device restarts.
- AD_ID: to show ads and measure ad performance.
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services. Each one has its own privacy policy that explains how it handles data.

Data collected by our third-party services is protected by those services' own security measures. No method of storage or transfer is 100% secure, but we choose services that take security seriously.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.

- Complain to your local data protection authority
We process data based on your consent (personalized ads) and our legitimate interest in keeping the App working and secure (crash reports and analytics). To use any of these rights, contact us (see Contact Us below).
13. Your Rights Under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected about you and how it is used
- Ask for your personal information to be deleted
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Not be treated differently for using these rights
We do not sell your personal information for money. Ad networks may use your Advertising ID to show personalized ads, which California law may treat as "sharing". You can opt out by turning off personalized ads in your device settings (see Ads and Your Choices above). To make a request, contact us (see Contact Us below).
