1. Information the App Handles
The App does not require an account to scan QR codes or supported barcodes.
When you scan a code, the App uses your device camera to detect and read it. Under the local-scanning design described in this policy, camera images and decoded content are processed on your device and are not sent to us. The App does not record or store camera video.
Codes may contain personal information, such as a name, phone number, or web address. The decoded content is shown to you so you can review it. If you choose to open, copy, or share the result, the selected app or service may process it.
2. Camera Permission
The App requests camera permission to scan QR codes and supported barcodes. Camera access is used when you use the scanning feature. You can manage or revoke this permission in your Android settings; scanning will not work without it.
The App does not use the camera to record video or collect images or audio for unrelated purposes.
3. Internet Access
The App or its third-party services may use an internet connection for online features, advertising, analytics, diagnostics, configuration, or other services included in the version you use.
Internet access alone does not give the App unrestricted access to personal files on your device. Under the local-scanning design described above, the App does not need to upload scanned images or decoded code contents to provide scanning.
4. Advertising, Analytics, and Diagnostics
If included in the App, third-party services such as Google AdMob may process information to display or measure advertisements. Depending on the service and your settings, this may include advertising identifiers, IP address, device and App information, ad impressions, clicks, interactions, and related diagnostic information. An advertising provider may infer approximate location from an IP address.
If included, Google Firebase or similar services may process App instance identifiers, device information, crash logs, usage information, and performance data for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, configuration, or App improvement.
These services process information under their own privacy policies and applicable terms. This section applies only to services actually integrated into the App.
5. How We Use Information
Information handled through the App or its service providers may be used to:
- provide scanning and display decoded results;
- support online features, if available;
- display and measure advertisements, if included;
- understand App performance and usage;
- diagnose crashes and technical issues;
- maintain security and help prevent abuse; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use personal or sensitive user data for purposes materially different from those described in this policy without appropriate notice or consent where required.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information.
Where applicable, information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the App, such as advertising, analytics, diagnostics, or hosting providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of users or others, investigate fraud or security issues, or enforce applicable agreements.
If you choose to open, copy, or share decoded content, the app or service you select may handle that content under its own policies.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Under the local-scanning design described in this policy, camera images and decoded scan results are not stored by us. If the App offers a scan-history feature, history stored on your device remains there until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.

8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by us. Where information is transmitted by the App or its service providers, it should be protected in transit using HTTPS or comparable security measures where supported. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at debroczydrumef5660@gmail.com so we can review the matter and take appropriate steps.
10. International Data Transfers
Third-party service providers may process information on servers located outside your country. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will apply to such transfers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. We will publish the revised policy and update the effective date above.
