Research Topics

As an active researcher, I am highly involved in student research as well. Both graduate and undergraduate students who have good academic performance are welcome to join my team. Students are also welcome to take supervision courses with me on research (e.g. CSE 5953, CSE 6950, CSE 6964, CSE 6976).

There are plenty of diverse research projects ongoing in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, intelligent sensing, computer vision, data science, virtual reality/augmented reality, etc.

TA/RA Positions

TA positions are available every semester. It is required to have solid knowledge and strong background in the domain as an TA. The preference will be given to students who have done research projects with me.

The availability of RA positions is dependent on grant budget. The preference will be given to students who have done research projects with me and have exhibited strong research capability and diligent attitude in research.
