In the first step of this project, I have synthesized SiO2 and TiO2 solution by sol-gel synthesis method.
A one-dimensional photonic crystal (1D-PC), which is a periodic nanostructure with a refractive index distribution along one direction, has been widely studied by scientists. In this review, materials and methods for 1DPC fabrication are summarized.Â
I was preparing the substructure for growing layers.
The grown sample has ten layers with rotation speed for TiO2=4500RPM and for SiO2=3500RPM.
