1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Qora: QR & Barcode Scanner (“Qora”), provided by Kalestial Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“Kalestial,” “we,” “us”). Contact: hello@kalestial.com.
By using Qora, you agree to these terms. If you cannot legally agree to them yourself, use the app only with the authorization of a parent or guardian who can do so, where permitted by applicable law. Purchases must be authorized by the relevant Apple Account holder.
The app license is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). These terms supplement that license and do not remove mandatory consumer rights or override applicable Apple terms. Our Privacy Policy, available from Qora and this website, explains information processing; it is not a request for consent to unrelated uses of your data.
2. What Qora provides
Qora scans supported QR codes and barcodes, reads QR codes from selected photos, creates supported static QR codes, and keeps a local history. It also offers copying, image saving, sharing, and user-initiated external searches or links where available.
Code recognition depends on the format, image quality, camera, and device. Check the decoded information and test generated codes before distributing or printing them. Qora is not a product database, link-safety certification service, or guarantee that external content is accurate or available.
Generated QR codes contain the information you supply. They do not provide a Kalestial-hosted redirect or an editable destination service. A generated code is not intentionally disabled when premium expires, although its destination may change or become unavailable independently.
3. Free access and premium
Users without an active subscription receive a total allowance of three successful scans, shared between QR and barcode scanning and between camera and supported photo scanning. This is not a daily or weekly allowance. Failed recognition and cancelled photo selection do not use a scan. Deleting history does not restore scans.
After the allowance is exhausted, further scanning requires premium. All new QR creation requires premium. You may browse creation options and enter information before subscribing; closing the paywall does not create a code.
An active Qora Premium subscription provides unlimited supported scanning and QR creation. Existing history and the available viewing, copying, saving, sharing, and search actions remain accessible without an active subscription. Premium scans do not use the free allowance. Local app data and device changes may affect the availability of locally stored records and preferences.
4. Weekly subscription and billing
Qora Premium is an automatically renewing weekly subscription. The applicable price is displayed in the app and in Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. Prices, currencies, and taxes may vary by storefront.
Payment is handled through your Apple Account. Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancellation and renewal timing are governed by Apple’s applicable terms for your storefront.
Deleting Qora does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while access continues through the paid period; refunds, revocation, failed billing, or other store entitlement changes may affect when access ends. Qora follows the subscription entitlement verified through Apple and RevenueCat.
Use Restore Purchases in Qora with the Apple Account associated with the purchase to restore eligible access. Restoration does not recover locally deleted QR history.
The three free scans are not a subscription trial and do not automatically enroll you in a subscription. Any future promotional offer must be described separately before purchase.
5. Refunds and price changes
For App Store purchases, request refunds through Apple’s refund service (https://reportaproblem.apple.com/). Eligibility is determined by Apple’s process and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes a statutory right to a refund or other remedy.
Future subscription price changes are subject to Apple’s notification and consent procedures where applicable. The price in your purchase confirmation and any valid subsequent changes governs your subscription.
6. Your content and responsible use
You retain your rights to the information you enter. You are responsible for having permission to encode, store, and share it, including another person’s contact information or a network password. Qora does not obtain ownership of that content.
You may use generated codes for lawful personal or business purposes. Do not use Qora for fraud, phishing, malware, infringement, unauthorized disclosure, or other unlawful activity. Do not interfere with the app’s operation or bypass subscription controls, except where a restriction cannot lawfully be imposed.
7. External services and local records
Opening links, searching Google or Amazon, and sharing content may take you to independently operated services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to those interactions. Search results and external destinations are not controlled or endorsed by Kalestial. Review a destination before entering sensitive information or making a payment.
History is stored locally, without a Qora cloud history account. Deleting data, losing a device, or removing the app may make records unavailable. Keep independent copies of codes you need. A store purchase restoration restores eligible subscription access, not a backup of your codes.
8. App rights, availability, and updates
Kalestial and its licensors retain rights in the Qora app, artwork, and branding. Rights to third-party brands remain with their owners.
We may release updates or change features to maintain the app, address security, or comply with law. Availability can depend on compatible devices, operating systems, Apple, and subscription services. Material changes affecting paid access will be handled with any notice and remedies required by applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent support for every device.
9. Responsibility and consumer protections
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided without a guarantee that every code will be recognized, every destination will remain available, or use will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for independently controlled third-party content merely because you access it through a code.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer protections. Your statutory rights remain available. If you have a problem with the app or paid access, contact us so we can investigate.
10. Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, subject to any mandatory protections and rights to bring claims in a jurisdiction available to you under applicable consumer law. No clause requires you to waive such rights.
We may revise these terms. The updated date will be shown above, and material changes will be notified where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights relating to an earlier purchase.
