Quantum Dot Light-Emitting Diodes

Quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) are the self-emissive light sources considered as a strong candidate for the next-generation display units.

We aim to achieving highly efficient QLEDs. Comprehensive research on interfaces or functional buffer layers is ongoing followed by analysis on the device physics.  From the glass substrates to the metal electrode, we fabricate every constituent layers of QLED. Systemic in-depth investigation on the device physics would be performed for the fabricated devices.

Developing functional devices (flexible, transparent, top-emitting) would be the possible research area.

Perovskite LED degradation

Perovskite is one of the most promising material for next generation optoelectronic applications. 2D to 3D phase transition of perovskite structure provides wide range of bandgap which promises the various optoelectronic characteristics for device applications.

We focus on developing highly efficient perovskite optoelectronics. Analysis on the degradation mechanism would be the top priority.
