Our initial meeting takes place at the O|2 building of the VU Amsterdam, room 01W08 (up the stairs from the main entrance hall).
Below is a schedule for the meeting, consisting of lunch & coffee breaks (provided), small group discussions, and short talks to introduce ourselves, with a few open slots for spontaneous visitors .

Questions to discuss:
How do we define Quantitative Microbial Ecology? How is it different from "Qualitative" Microbial Ecology, and is it a useful distinction?
How can we benefit from one another? Crosstalk between systems and techniques?
How should we organize? Associate with existing societies, if so, which?
Is there interest in organizing a Quantitative Microbial Ecology conference later in 2023? Who would like to co-organize this (write a NWO meeting grant)?
