Netherlands Integrative Microbial Ecology Initiative

The Netherlands Integrative Microbial Ecology initiative is a new initiative that brings together researchers from across the Netherlands working on questions of quantitative microbial ecology, very broadly speaking. By this, we mean research focused on understanding principles and developing a predictive understanding of microbial communities, physiology, and evolution, spanning field work, lab experiments, data analysis, and theory/modeling. We are a community of researchers with a common interest but complementary approaches and model systems, to share ideas and facilitate future collaborations. We aim to meet 2-3 times a year to build community and exchange ideas.
