The proposal is based on the study on Ralph Knowles’s “Solar Envelop” methods. Attempting to solve both the issue of sunlight exposure and shadow casting, the residential towers are arranged and “carved” according to the local sunlight condition in certain given time period on key dates. A fractured plinth with wooden scaffolds, is also added to mediate between towers and the actual urban ground.
