Qi Zhang is a PhD candidate in the department of Epidemiology at Emory University and a predoctoral fellow at the Center for Observational Research at Amgen, Inc. She also serves as a statistical consultant, with over 6 years of hands-on experience in observational and pharmacoepidemiologic research. Her primary research interest lies at the intersection of causal inference, epidemiology and machine learning, with a particular focus on methodological challenges in pharmacoepidemiologic research and health care practices, including heterogeneity of causal effects, synthetic data generation, complex longitudinal data, and unmeasured confounders.
