Participants from Academia:

A maximum of thirty participants will be selected from academic institutions across India to attend the course at IIT Kanpur. Applicants should be engaged in teaching. Selected candidates will be paid AC 3-tier class railway fair by the shortest route and a daily allowances as per QIP norms. Accommodation (on twin sharing basis) will be arranged in one of the students’ hostels at IIT Kanpur.

Prospective candidates are requested to submit the online registration form by March 9, 2018. Selected candidates will have to send the application form (duly forwarded by head of the institution/department) and a Demand Draft of INR 1000 (One Thousand Rupees Only) in favour of "Continuing Education Programme, IIT Kanpur" to the coordinator of the course by post before March 20, 2018. This demand draft will be refundable to the participant provided she attends the course.

Candidates not selected in QIP quota can be considered, on request, for the course with non-refundable and reduced registration fee of Rs 15000/- which includes boarding and lodging (on twin sharing basis) but not the travel expenses.

Participants from Industry and R&D Organisations

Participants from utilities, industries and other organizations will also be allowed to attend the course. Registration fee per participants is Rs 30,000/-. This must be paid in advance through bank draft in favor of “Continuing Education Programme, IIT Kanpur” payable at State Bank of India, IIT Kanpur (1161) on or before March 20, 2018. Boarding and lodging will be provided in the institute guest house. However, the participants will bear the travel expenses.
