Welcome!
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Aalto University. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from Rice University in 2024 and my M.A. in Economics from Duke University in 2017. I will join the University of Texas at San Antonio Carlos Alvarez College of Business as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the fall of 2025.
My research fields are Development Economics and Applied Microeconomics. I am enthusiastic about topics related to family, education, and health.
My research borrows multidisciplinary insights across economics, psychology, and sociology. I have designed and conducted field experiments, utilizing both observational and experimental data to address policy-relevant questions.
Beyond academic life, I love collecting stamps and DIY LEGOs! I am also an avid runner and passionate about HIIT!
