Welcome!

My name is Qin Lin, and I am a Postdoctoral Researcher with the IgM-Apls team at the Department of Economics, Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU).

I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I am an applied microeconomist with a strong interest in understanding the factors that influence individual and household labor behavior and labor market dynamics. My research focuses on four key areas: (1) intergenerational mobility, (2) household decision-making related to child development and maternal labor supply, (3) couples’ joint labor supply decisions, and (4) the potential impact of emerging technologies on the future of work.
