If you want a rugged, all-day wireless headset with telescopic buds and massive standby time for DJ sets or active movement, choose Qiilu Sx991; if you need stylish on-ear comfort with swappable aesthetics and deep bass for immersive listening, choose okcsc Classic Retro Headphones.
• Qiilu Sx991: Strengths include a unique telescopic neck design, 300-hour standby battery, and dual-device Bluetooth connectivity; the trade-off is an in-ear form factor that lacks the classic over-ear feel some DJs prefer. Best for mobile DJs who need hands-free mobility and endurance.
• okcsc Classic Retro Headphones: Strengths feature a lightweight retro aesthetic with six swappable ear cushions, 40mm dynamic drivers for punchy bass, and a wired fallback option; the trade-off is a shorter 10-hour battery life compared to the Qiilu. Best for style-conscious listeners and studio setups where looks matter as much as sound.
The Qiilu Sx991 is engineered for the person who refuses to be tethered to a desk or a chair while working. Its defining feature is the hanging neck design combined with a unique telescopic earbud system. This isn't just about folding them up; it is about having a device that physically adapts to your body. When you are moving around a venue, setting up equipment, or managing a live mix, this headset stays secure without the bulk of traditional over-ear cups. The telescopic mechanism allows the earbuds to retract into the neckband when not in use, making it incredibly compact for travel.
For a DJ looking for noise isolation during calls or transitions, the CVC wideband noise reduction technology is a game-changer. Even in a noisy environment with crowd chatter or equipment hum, this feature ensures your voice comes through clearly on the other end. It handles the chaos of a busy club or outdoor festival without requiring you to shout or strain to hear. The British CSR 5.0 chip further enhances this by allowing you to connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. You can keep your phone connected to your music source while simultaneously linking to a mixer or another device, switching between them seamlessly without disconnecting.

This product is ideal for the active user who prioritizes battery longevity above all else. With a standby time of up to 300 hours, you rarely need to think about charging. You can charge it once, go out for a week-long gig tour, and still have power left over. The continuous playtime of at least 16 hours means you can cover a full day of events from setup to teardown. However, if you prefer the physical pressure of over-ear headphones for maximum isolation or the specific "hugging" feel of large ear cups, this might not be your perfect fit. It is strictly an in-ear solution wrapped in a clever neckband package.
The okcsc Classic Retro Headphones speak directly to those who view their audio gear as a fashion statement as much as a tool. The design draws heavily from 80s and 90s aesthetics, offering a matte black frame that pairs effortlessly with modern streetwear. But the real standout here is the customization. The unit comes with six vibrant, swappable ear cushions. While the colors are randomized, the ability to change your look daily allows you to match your outfit, your mood, or even your stage presence. Whether you are doing an Instagram post or just walking down the street, these headphones turn heads. They are built for the creator who wants their gear to reflect their personality.
Audio performance on this model leans heavily into the "vibe." The 40mm dynamic drivers are tuned to deliver punchy bass and crystal-clear highs, creating a studio-quality experience that feels immersive. If you are mixing tracks that rely on low-end frequency response or simply want to feel the beat while you work, the bass-boosted mode provides that extra kick. The inclusion of a Type-C port alongside a 3.5mm jack offers incredible versatility. You can run wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 for freedom of movement, or plug in with a cable for zero-lag gaming or monitoring where latency is not an option. This wired capability is crucial for any serious producer or DJ who needs absolute reliability without worrying about signal interference.
Comfort is another major selling point for the okcsc. Weighing only about 75 grams, these headphones are ultra-lightweight, preventing the fatigue that often comes with heavier metal or plastic frames. The memory foam ear pads adapt to your head shape, ensuring a breathable seal that keeps ears cool even during long sessions. This makes them perfect for dorm life, long study marathons, or extended travel. However, the battery life is noticeably shorter than the Qiilu, lasting around 10 hours. While sufficient for most daily uses, it requires more frequent charging cycles if you are running multi-day events without access to power.

The telescopic design is genuinely practical for storage, and the 300-hour standby battery gives me peace of mind that I won't be caught mid-set with dead gear. It is the ultimate bluetooth headset for dj scenarios where reliability and mobility are paramount.

The ability to swap ear pads and the premium retro aesthetic make it a piece of art as well as a speaker. For a noise cancelling open ear headphones for dj context, neither fits perfectly since one is in-ear and the other is closed-back, but the okcsc offers the best balance of style and studio-grade bass for the artist who wants to stand out. Ultimately, for the pure utility of a clip on earbuds for dj application, the Qiilu wins on specs, but the okcsc wins on soul.
