About PI: Dr. Qi Qian is starting an assistant professor position in the School of Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hongkong, Shenzhen, from December 2023. Before that she did her postdoctoral research at UCLA with Prof. Xiangfeng Duan. She received her Ph.D. degree in condensed matter physics in 2018 from Purdue University with Prof. Michael Manfra and B.S. degree from JiLin University in 2011. Her research interest focuses on quantum transport in novel quantum materials and devices. Her research works are published in top peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials and Physical Review B. She has received MRS Postdoctoral Award, the nomination of Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research at UCLA, the Lark-Horovitz Prize in Physics and Lijuan Wang Memorial Award at Purdue University.
