Our research group is rooted in the broad field of Solid Mechanics. We focus on integrating theoretical modeling, advanced simulations, and experimental investigations to explore the multiscale and multiphysics mechanisms underlying the behavior of materials and structures. Particular emphasis is placed on understanding how these systems respond to fatigue loading, fracture failure, and extreme environmental conditions. Our findings support the development of efficient predictive models and computational methods that not only enhance the understanding of material behavior but also aid in optimizing structural design and reliability across various engineering applications.Â
