Hyejeong’s work...
Centers on bubble formation in 2D materials heterostructures and its impact on FIB nanomilling and laser irradiation techniques.
She is also involved in developing an ultra-compact, non-magnetic RF isolator based on Josephson junctions for future large-scale quantum computing, in collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory (UK).

Narae work...
The vacuum-level–dependent surface treatment of hBN for two-dimensional heterostructure applications.
Her work focuses on how different vacuum annealing conditions affect surface cleanliness,
using optical microscopy and AFM, to identify optimal thermal processing routes for high-quality van der Waals assembly.
