Privacy Policy
QED is built privacy first. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
Nothing about you personally. QED has no account, no login, and no analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or device identifiers, and we show no ads.
What stays on your device
Your puzzle progress, streaks, ranks, and settings are stored locally on your device. This information never leaves your device except as described below, and it is removed if you delete the app.
AI features
The AI tutor and lessons are optional and used only when you tap them. When you do, the relevant puzzle context and your typed question are sent over an encrypted connection to our proxy server, which forwards the request to a third party AI provider to generate a response. No personal identifiers are attached to these requests, and your inputs are not used to train AI models. Conversation history is stored only on your device.
Purchases
In app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. We only receive Apple's confirmation that a purchase is valid.
Children
QED is rated for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your control
You can reset all of your progress at any time in Settings. Because everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes your data from the device.
